Community Guidelines

ReviSports is built for youth and high school athletes, their teams, and their families. That raises the bar for what belongs here. These rules apply to everything you share: posts, highlights, comments, messages, usernames, photos, and video.

What is not allowed

Nudity and sexual content
No nudity, sexually explicit, or suggestive material of anyone.
Profanity and vulgar language
Keep it clean. Swearing in passing is not what we are policing, but language aimed AT someone, or that is sexual or degrading, is: a post or comment like that is not published, and you are told straight away so you can reword it and post again. Slurs are never allowed. In chat, the app warns you before you send, and if you send anyway the message goes through but an alert goes to your parent or guardian and your organization.
Hate and discrimination
No content that attacks or demeans people based on race, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any protected trait.
Harassment and bullying
No targeting, threatening, intimidating, or bullying another person.
Violence and harm
No violent content, threats of violence, or anything that encourages self-harm.
Illegal content
Nothing illegal, including drugs, weapons, or other unlawful activity.
Impersonation
Do not pretend to be someone else or misrepresent who you are.
Private information
Do not share another person's private or identifying information.
Spam and scams
No spam, misleading content, or attempts to deceive.

Extra protection for minors

Because most of our community is under 18, we hold anything involving minors to a higher standard. Every message on the platform is monitored for safety, in Team Chat, group chats, and direct messages alike: an AI reviews message content for signs of bullying, harassment, sexual content, grooming, or threats, anything it flags is re-checked in the context of the surrounding conversation, and confirmed concerns are routed to the accountable adult. The software does the reading, not a person, and who gets the alert depends on who is in the conversation. If a minor is involved, it goes to their parent or guardian, or in a school organization to the school's designated officials. If everyone in the conversation is a confirmed adult, it goes only to ReviSports staff: your club does not get told, and a person here decides whether anything is warranted. Parents also control what their child can share through the parental controls. Content that exploits or endangers a minor is never allowed and is reported to the proper authorities, including NCMEC, where the law requires it.

How to report

See something that breaks these rules? Report it. Every report reaches our team.

Report a concern

What happens if you break the rules

Depending on what happened, we may remove the content, warn the account, restrict features, or suspend or terminate the account. Serious violations, especially anything involving the safety of a minor, are reported to law enforcement where the law requires it.
