Delete your account

You can do this yourself, from the web or from either app. You do not have to ask us, and you do not need the app installed.

How to do it

  1. Sign in to your ReviSports account. We ask you to sign in because deleting an account has to prove who is asking.
  2. Go to Settings, then Account.
  3. Choose Delete account and confirm. In the mobile app and the desktop app the same control is under Settings.

Deleting a child's roster profile: a parent or guardian does it the same way, from their own account, on the child's profile. A child under 13 has no account of their own to delete.

What gets deleted

Your profile, your posts and comments, your messages, your reactions, your follows, and the content you uploaded to your own account are removed from the live Platform within 48 hours. Nobody can see them after that. ReviSports keeps no routine archive: once it is gone from the Platform, it is gone.

What does not go with it

Four things stay, and it is fairer to say so here than to let you find out afterwards.

Film your team uploaded
Game film belongs to the team that recorded it, not to any one member. Leaving a team does not take the team's film with you. A coach or org owner can delete the team's film from the team's own surfaces.
A record that a consent was given
Which version of the Terms and Privacy Policy an account accepted, when, and whether a parent accepted it. We are required to be able to show this, so it is kept for the period in Privacy Policy section 9, Tier 3.
Anything under a legal hold
If there is a pending or reasonably anticipated legal matter, or a lawful request from an authority, the relevant records are preserved until that matter ends. Privacy Policy section 9, Tier 5.
Models already trained
A trained model cannot have one contribution removed after the fact. The underlying film is deleted; the model itself persists. Privacy Policy section 9, Tier 6.

If your team is on ReviSports through a school district

Data created inside a school workspace is governed by that district's signed Data Privacy Agreement, and the district decides how it is retained and deleted. Deleting your personal account does not delete school records. Ask your school or district, or write to us and we will point you at the right person.

Would rather we did it?

Write to support [at] revisports.com from the email address on the account and we will delete it for you.

The full retention rules are in our Privacy Policy, sections 9 and 11.
